Last Thursday, we were there with the Wood3.0 innovation network and had the opportunity to present an exciting ZIM-funded collaborative project:
➡️ A paper-based, circular economy-compatible exterior wall system
The project—which emerged from the predecessor network BauProPapier—aims to develop sustainable exterior walls based on paper-based functional layers, thereby opening up new avenues for resource-efficient construction.

We were particularly pleased by the strong interest from the political sphere:
We had the pleasure of welcoming, among others, Member of the Bundestag Stefan Schmidt (Alliance 90/The Greens) and Tanja Alemany Sanchez de León (Head of the “Innovative Economy” Division) to our booth to present our project and our approaches to sustainable construction.
Another highlight was the guided tour of the grounds organized by the VDI/VDE, during which selected innovation networks and their projects were presented. As part of this tour, we also had the opportunity to present our Wood3.0 network and the project.
An inspiring day filled with many exciting conversations, new contacts, and valuable insights for future developments—this is exactly how innovation thrives in small and medium-sized enterprises.
